Data Governance Specialist / Senior Specialist

Requirements

• Higher education in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields;
• Work experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management, or related areas;
• Knowledge of data management principles, data quality, and metadata concepts;
• Sufficient knowledge for data verification and analysis using SQL;
• Understanding of data models, relational databases, and Data Warehouse;
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and process analysis skills;
• Documentation, communication, and collaboration skills with various business units;
• Knowledge of English, primarily at the level of reading and understanding technical documentation.

Preference is given to:

• Work experience in the banking or financial sector;
• Experience participating in Data Governance and Data Quality projects;
• Knowledge of the DAMA-DMBOK framework or other data management methodologies;
• Knowledge of Data Governance tools;
• Practical experience in data classification, Data Lineage, and Data Catalog.

Responsibilities

• Participation in the implementation of the Data Governance framework and relevant methodologies for the bank;
• Evaluation of data quality, determination of quality indicators and control rules;
• Determination and coordination of responsibilities for Data Ownership and management;
• Formation and development of the bank's Business Data Glossary, Data Catalog, and metadata management processes;
• Participation in activities to ensure the traceability (Data Lineage) of data movement and transformations from source to user;
• Identification of data quality issues, investigation of their causes, and coordination of their resolution with relevant departments;
• Participation in the preparation of internal rules and standards for data classification, usage, and management;
• Ensuring the implementation of data management requirements through collaboration with relevant departments.
