Specialist in Internal Control

Working Conditions

• City: Baku
• Work Schedule: Weekdays 5 days, 09:00–18:00 (13:00-14:00 lunch break)
• Salary: Based on agreement

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze the functioning of internal control systems and provide suggestions for improving their effectiveness;
• Monitor the execution of internal procedures and operations in compliance with legislation, internal regulations, and risk management policy;
• Utilize control tools for early risk detection and propose preventive measures;
• Investigate cases of non-compliance, determine causes and consequences, and submit reports to management;
• Participate in and support audit checks and review processes;
• Prepare regular and operational reports for management.
• Inform relevant structural units about identified shortcomings and deficiencies within the framework of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual control activities;
• Provide recommendations for eliminating identified shortcomings and deficiencies within the framework of control activities and regularly monitor their implementation.

Requirements

• Higher education (preferably in Mathematics, Economics, and Finance);
• Language Skills: Good command of Azerbaijani, knowledge of Russian is desirable;
• Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office programs, especially good level in Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of Flexcube, BI, and BPM;
• Work Experience: minimum 1 year in Audit, Internal Control, or Risk field.
• Adherence to professional ethics and confidentiality principles;
• Business acumen, proactivity, initiative, and problem-solving skills;
• Accuracy and attention to detail at work;
• Teamwork and accountability skills.
