Methane Management Unit Lead

EKOL is looking for a Methane Management Unit Lead to join us.

Requirements:

• MSc in environmental, chemical, petroleum or mechanical engineering (or equivalent);
• 10+ years of O&G environmental / emissions management experience, including 3+ years managing technical teams;
• Working knowledge of OGMP 2.0, EU MR 2024/1787, EN 17628 and GHG inventory practice;
• Fluent Azerbaijani and English; Russian is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish the unit, including workflows, procedures, survey planning and annual campaign programme;
• Own the budget, delivery plan and KPI reporting to the Head of Function;
• Negotiate and manage the multi-year service agreement;
• Approve methodologies and sign off all data packages;
• Lead Wave 2 recruitment, competence matrix, certification plan and the instrument tender;
• Manage interfaces with entities, verifiers/auditors;
• Represent EKOL in OGMP/IMEO fora.
