Junior IT Specialist

Responsibilities

• Receiving and promptly resolving users' daily technical requests (computer, software, internet, phone, etc.).
• Installation, connection, and technical support of computers, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
• Daily technical maintenance of printers, replacement of cartridges, and troubleshooting of simple malfunctions.
• Connecting, replacing network and other cables at workstations, and resolving connection issues.
• Providing initial technical support to users for Windows, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft 365.
• Initial diagnostics of problems arising in LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, and VPN connections.
• Connecting IP phones and resolving simple technical malfunctions.
• Preparing workstations for new employees: computer, domain account, corporate email, phone, and required software.
• Maintaining inventory records and updating IT equipment.
• Registering, tracking, and timely resolving technical requests in the ticketing system.
• Providing on-site technical support at various company facilities when necessary.

Knowledge and Skills

• Installation, configuration, and technical support of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, domain accounts, and Group Policy.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
• Installation and configuration of printers, scanners, IP phones, and other peripheral equipment.
• Understanding of basic computer hardware components and troubleshooting simple hardware issues.
• Ability to work with ticketing systems (Jira, Zendesk, or similar).
• Diagnostic and problem-solving (troubleshooting) skills.
• Communication, proactivity, and teamwork skills.

Requirements for the Candidate:

• Higher or secondary vocational technical education (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in IT technical support.
• Communication skills in Azerbaijani and Russian.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
• Responsibility, accuracy, and user-oriented approach.
• Residing in the Sumgayit, Khirdalan, and Masazir area is preferred.
