Chief Financial Officer

Description

• Leadership of the Finance Department: management and accounting, treasury, tax accounting, financial reporting;
• Budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting at the Group and company level;
• Profitability management: margin analysis, operational expense control, identification and reduction of inefficient expenses;
• Management of cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships;
• Leadership in the implementation and development of the ERP system's financial module, automation of reporting, reduction of monthly closing time;
• Ensuring compliance with the Tax legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and IFRS requirements;
• Preparation of financial analyses and recommendations for senior management;
• Management and development of the Finance Department team.

Working conditions:

• Working days: Monday-Friday;
• Working hours: 09:00-18:00.

Requirements

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, or Accounting;
• At least 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a management position (CFO or Deputy CFO);
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and the Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• Practical experience with ERP systems in a financial function;
• Team management experience;
• Possession of one of the international professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or CPA) is considered an advantage;
• Experience in retail, distribution, and banking sectors;
• Experience working within a holding structure comprising multiple legal entities;
• Experience participating in ERP implementation projects.
