Lead Specialist in Budgeting and Accounting

Key Requirements

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in budgeting, financial reporting, or management accounting, with at least 1 year in a lead role;
• Knowledge of the Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Labor Code, and accounting legislation;
• Practical experience in preparing financial statements and budget control;
• Analytical thinking, data analysis, problem-solving, and operational decision-making skills;
• Advanced MS Excel skills, high-level knowledge of ERP systems;
• High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and teamwork skills.
• PMS certificate is desirable;

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate and timely recording of the company's daily financial transactions in the ERP system.
• Maintain records of monthly expenses, execute the month-end closing process, and prepare expense analysis reports.
• Prepare financial statements and submit them to management.
• Prepare and provide information on the company's cash balances.
• Ensure the planning and timely execution of payments.
• Prepare and submit official reports (Tax, Statistics, Social Security Fund, and other relevant authorities) within the established deadlines.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Participate in the budget preparation process, oversee budget execution and limits, prepare budget-vs-actual analyses, and investigate the causes of deviations.
• Fulfill other tasks assigned by management related to job activities.
