Assistant/Associate Professor of Public Administration
ADA University’s School of Public and International Affairs invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Public Administration. This full-time faculty role, starting in Fall 2024, offers a great opportunity for dynamic, innovative, and collaborative professionals who specialize in public administration. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of related undergraduate and graduate courses including Public Affairs and Governance, Public Administration Theories, Human Resource Management, Public Administration and Management, and other relevant subjects as required.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent teaching experiences and actively engage in curriculum development.
- Publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
- Foster a collaborative atmosphere among faculty.
- Participate in university and school committees.
- Provide thorough support and guidance to students.
- Maintain a teaching load of 3/3 for Assistant Professors or 3/2 for Associate Professors, with the possibility of reducing it to 3/2 for Assistant Professors demonstrating a strong research agenda.
- Actively participate in university and community life.
Requirements:
- A Ph.D. in Public Administration or a related field from an accredited institution, to be obtained by the start date.
- A record of, or clear potential for, high-quality research and teaching corresponding to the position.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- A commitment to positively contributing to the university and academic community.
