Head of IT Department

Location: Baku, with up to 50% of domestic travel

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer 

Work Arrangements: Office-Based

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining GROUP’s computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensure smooth operation and implement security measures and backup protocols for IT and Network.
• Drive innovation for front office or core business operations by recommending viable technologies.
• Update technological equipment in the company.
• Implement company-wide technology updates and hold sessions to teach employees on new features.
• Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of system.

What we want you to:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in information technology and in a leadership role is required. 
• Good written and verbal communications skills (Azerbaijan and English).
• Up-to-date knowledge of latest IT developments.
• Knowledge of best computer security practices.
• Good research and analysis skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
