Senior Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst at the Sky Catering branch of Aviation Services Group. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a crucial team member in improving the company's finance operations. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders will also be an important aspect of this role. 

Job Description:

• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed (variance analysis, cost analysis etc).
• Lead the performance of month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
• Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion.
• Provide guidance to other Accountants when needed.
• Actively participate in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
• Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
• Actively participate in ERP system implementation and lead assigned flows.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth.
• Take active role in preparation of Financial Reports such as Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statement, P&L and any other management reports.

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA is an advantage);
• Progress in relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, FMVA) is an advantage;
• Min. 5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting, 2 years in senior position (Work experience in big 4 audit companies is an advantage);
• Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel;
• Proactiveness, confidence and flexibility skills;
• Working experience with accounting or ERP software;
• Good knowledge of English language;
• Effective both as an individual and a team player;
• Ability to manage and lead multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working conditions:

• Salary range of 3,000-4,000 AZN (net).
• In accordance with the Labour Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
• Job Location: Baku, Heydar Aliyev International Airport area.
• Work Schedule: Full-time (5 days per week from 09:00 till 18:00).
• The company daily provides free service transportations from/to different locations (such as, Koroglu m/s, Bakikhanov, Amirdjan, Mardakan, Bina, Surakhani and so on).
