Head of EYFS

 After excellent service, we will sadly say goodbye to our much-loved Head of EYFS at the end of this term. Therefore we are seeking Head of EYFS for the next term. Interested candidates will be responsible to provide and lead the strategic direction for the EYFS in line with the whole Complex vision and development plan and as directed by the Principal and to ensure that the standards of teaching, learning, and attainment in all areas of Complex life within the EYSF reflect the Complex’s mission of providing the best of British Curriculum

Required:

• Discreet, and able to keep confidential information that is private and personal in nature;
• Good organization skills and leadership skills and attention to detail;
• A “Can do approach” to work and a strong sense of commitment towards work.
• A good understanding of British and Azerbaijani Education Systems and sound knowledge about the relevant institutions is essential;
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, and children;
• Constant updating of information relating to the kindergarten;
• BA in Teaching, or Business Administration, Institutions Management, or other related fields, combined with teacher’s education. Should have administrative course as well;
• Fluent in English;
• A minimum of two years’ experience;
• Intercultural Communication Skills;
• International Experience;
• Open and Connected Leadership;
• Focused Vision and Simplicity;
• A drive to be the best.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status/Licensed Teacher essential
• Middle/Senior Leader qualifications desirable

Experience:

• Experience of successful leadership in education
• Recent extensive relevant teaching experience

Skills – self-management, leadership, and management of people include the ability to:

• Work as part of a team
• Devolve responsibilities, delegate tasks, and monitor practice to see that they are being carried out
• Seek advice and support when necessary

Preferred:

• A Master Degree;
