Shift Supervisor / CİL Plant

Workplace: Dashkasan district

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Shift-based work schedule.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the production operates at maximum performance;
• Direct operations by analyzing operational deficiencies and requirements;
• Identify potential risks in production in advance and inform the CİL plant manager to prevent them;
• Direct operators during fire, poisoning, accidents, and other emergencies and lead the evacuation plan;
• Regularly evaluate the performance of subordinate operators and keep records;
• Increase operators' interest in work, strengthen teamwork, and maintain a positive work environment;
• Monitor opportunities for applying innovative solutions to problems arising in production processes and provide suggestions;
• Prepare the operational plan based on process changes;
• Collect information from operators regarding the production process or any parameter affecting production, and make decisions on taking appropriate measures;
• Optimize and monitor the quantities of chemical substances required for production, and alongside preparing necessary reports, control the quantity and stock of all chemical substances used in the plant;
• Adhere to carbon stripping and mill shutdown plans;
• Prepare projects and their technical-economic justifications to increase efficiency or improve operations in their field;
• Monitor all mechanical and electrical problems and report them to the relevant structural unit;
• Efficiently manage the processes carried out in the plant during the shift in accordance with existing procedures and instructions;
• Understand the operating principles of technological equipment and inform operators if necessary;
• Monitor the levels of the control room and all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) materials and ensure their availability;
• Ensure the proper organization and shift rotation of production;
• Monitor the levels of technical and purified water tanks, ensuring sufficient water is always available for production and emergencies;
• Prepare employee development programs and conduct training in the relevant field (on processes and pre-work HSE standards);
• Organize operators' lunch and dinner breaks according to production requirements;
• Contact the relevant structural unit to ensure that operators and oneself are provided with the necessary PPE and equipment;
• Oversee the fulfillment of all job responsibilities by subordinate operators.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Fluent Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages are desirable.

Required Education:

• Higher education (Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry).

Required Work Experience:

• At least 1 year of work experience in a relevant field.
