Service Management Specialist

Job responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage IT processes based on the ITIL framework across our organization
  • Analyze existing IT processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Design and document new IT policies, processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and service delivery
  • Train and support other IT staff on ITIL best practices and process implementation
  • Define and improve performance metrics for processes
  • Continuously monitor process performance and adjust as needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in IT, operations, and other departments
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest ITIL guidelines and industry best practices
  • Implementation, improvement and management of ITSM tool

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience implementing and managing ITIL-based IT processes
  • Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and its core principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to design and document efficient IT processes
  • Experience training and supporting teams on process adoption
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or a related field
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies 
  • ITIL and / or project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
