Key Accountabilities:
- Support and development of PR & Communication plans and strategies, and implementation of promotional programmes.
- Generate meaningful content (e.g. speeches, storylines, press releases/statements, articles, notes) for diverse communications channels to enhance the company’s voice and presence.
- Administer internal and external communications channels such as website, intranet, MS Teams channels, Yammer and suggest most relevant content.
- Analyse the media landscape, and use insights to inform PR and Communications strategies
- Develop and regularly update news highlights tool to keep the top management informed about the relevant local and international developments
- Display outstanding partnering capabilities with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate fluency across social media and other multi-media channels.
- Manage media relations and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Carry out communications activities with appropriate metrics and objectives to ensure that projects deliver the agreed results.
- Generate creative and effective ideas that will contribute to the promotion of company brand.
- Liaising with and answering enquiries from diverse media, and other stakeholders;
- Prepare publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, presentations, films and multimedia programs;
- Develop and execute special corporate events to increase brand awareness
- Prepare programmes for team buildings and any other internal corporate events
- Making recommendations on advertising agencies and publishing houses when needed and/or economically justified;
- Regularly develop and update information on Group and Business Unit websites and Intranet;
- Contribute to generating compelling content to present Group and subsidiaries in social media;
- Advise management of subsidiaries about the content to be placed on their website;
- Revise and suggest ideas for promo materials and corporate gifts;
- Additional relevant tasks as may be required
Skills/Knowledge and Experience required on the job:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in related fields
- Fluent Azerbaijani, English, and Russian (preferably) languages (both written and oral)
- Strong communication skills
- Project management skills
- Content Management System and social media administration (preferred)
Desirable criteria & qualifications:
- Power Point, Word, Excel, Social Media channels management platform (e.g. Hootsuite)
- Focusing, adaptability; creativity skills
- Good judgment; an outgoing personality
