Mid-Level Data Scientist

Requirements of the vacancy: 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a data science role, preferably within the fintech or online payment industry.
  • Technical Skills: 
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and data manipulation.
  • Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer data analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Perform data analysis and build predictive models for customer acquisition, churn prediction, customer retention and credit risk scoring. 
  • Data Management: Extract, transform and load (ETL) data from various sources, including MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Programming: Utilize Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis and machine learning model development.
  • Data Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau to present data insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product and engineering to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Customer Insights: Analyze customer data from our CRM database to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improving customer experience and retention.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools and techniques in data science and apply them to improve existing processes and models.
