HSE engineer
Position Overview:
As an HSE Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during the construction of our wind power energy facilities. You will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of safety and sustainability across our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for wind power construction project.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Provide training and support to employees and contractors on HSE practices and emergency procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, clients, and stakeholders regarding HSE matters.
- Participate in safety meetings and ensure effective communication of HSE issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction or renewable energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
- Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- English is at an upper-intermediate level.
