Environmental Systems and Societies Teacher

Key Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent in Geography, Environmental Science or related field
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required 
• Teaching experience in Secondary Years education is preferable
• Strong knowledge and/or experience and/or enthusiasm to teach in the IB MYP/DP curriculum framework
• Be inter-culturally aware with well-developed interpersonal skills
• Be committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
• Be collaborative and able to work as part of a team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize engaging classroom lectures and coursework in Environmental Systems and Societies
• Prepare relevant materials and hands-on activities
• Assign meaningful homework and exercises
• Identify students with special requirements and create individualized learning plans
• Evaluate exam and assignment grades
• Provide constructive feedback based on workload and classroom behavior
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's performance
• Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to enhance the student experience
• Fulfill teacher duties according to the provided schedule

Kindly be informed that the teacher is going to teach ESS in English at IB School. So, fluency in English is compulsory. The interview is held in English as well.
