Junior IT Auditor

Main duties & responsibilities

• Execute IT audit engagements, assist in planning stage and preparation of audit work program
• Work closely with audited parties to gather information and understand business processes
• Accurate documentation of audit working papers in line with internal requirements
• Participate in risk assessments related to information technology systems and processes
• Conduct audit procedures to assess the effectiveness of IT controls
• Analyze and document evidence to support audit findings
• Participate in preparation of audit report detailing findings, risks and recommendations
• Follow-up the implementation of action plans to ensure that they are executed in a timely manner
• Participate in the preparation of monthly monitoring reports
• Comply with ethical requirements and standards of IIA
• Pursuing professional certifications and training to enhance IT audit skills

Main Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Master degree is preferable) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security or a related field
• 1-2 years of work experience in some areas of IT (e.g. Service desk, system administration, programming, etc. are preferable)
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Power Point
• Fluent writing and speaking skills in Azerbaijani and English

• Knowledge of IT and/or Information Security governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001)
• Knowledge of IT essentials (Network, Operating systems, database, etc.)
