Lead IT Specialist

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide first- and second-line support for software and hardware issues across the organization.
• Support and maintain PCs as well as LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
• Test and evaluate hardware and software to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems.
• Monitor and test communication lines to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Assess system performance and identify risks related to component failure.
• Troubleshoot LAN-related issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Interpret technical documentation to configure equipment and ensure optimal performance.
• Identify suitable equipment based on organizational requirements and technical specifications.
• Provide user support, including troubleshooting data communication issues and training on system usage.
• Monitor system messages to verify accurate data transmission between locations.
• Manage ordering and installation of peripheral equipment and consumables (e.g., cables, printer paper).
• Ensure all activities comply with ICT policies and procedures.
• Recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Assist users in resolving hardware and software issues.
• Oversee installation, measurement, and maintenance of cables and wiring.
• Report system errors or equipment failures to the relevant ICT personnel.
• Monitor system outputs and detect faults through system alerts and performance indicators.
• Operate computer systems to process business, engineering, or scientific data in line with procedures.
• Ensure full compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Sanitation standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 - 10  years of relevant experience
• BS / MS degree in relevant field
• Good knowledge of English
