Head of Investment Analysis Section

The investment analysis department is a structural division of the Investment analysis and transactions department of the Company. The function of the department is the analysis of investment projects of group internal enterprises and departments, preparation of long-term and one-year capital plans.

Responsibilities:

• Organization of the work of the department and management of the staff;
• Analysis of capital investment projects by business divisions, preparation of investment recommendations;
• Verification of financial models prepared by the department's analytical team, data consolidation and presentation;
• Implementation of coordination on the planning of large capital investment projects requiring technical expertise;
• Evaluation of PSA agreements in terms of investment function;
• Evaluating business plans of business units and segments requiring capital investment.

Job Requirements:

• Higher education in Business, Economics and Finance;
• Must have at least 3 years of work experience in a managerial position in the relevant field;
• Extensive knowledge of financial analysis and investments;
• Analytical thinking and presentation skills;
• Achievements in relevant certification (ACCA, CFA, CIMA, etc.);
• Fluent Azerbaijani and English language skills;
• Oil and gas production experience is a huge plus.
