Senior Investment Analyst (Department of Transaction Execution)

The Transaction Execution Department of the Investment Analysis and Transactions Department of company ensures the implementation of activities on mergers and acquisitions, disposal of non-strategic assets, establishment of joint ventures. Senior investment analyst - performs economic analysis of merger and acquisition projects, participates in determining the value of target assets, conducting negotiations on project implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of financial statements of target enterprises and preparation of valuation models
• Organization of audit (due diligence) process and work with consultants within the framework of possible company mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects
• Preparation of investment presentations, investment recommendation reports
• Review of commercial aspects of share sale/purchase agreements

Job Requirements:

• Must have 3 years of work experience in a position performing a similar function
• Higher education in Business, Economics and Finance
• Working freely with MS Office programs
• Must have deep knowledge of investment analysis, financial reporting, strategic planning
• Must have positive qualities such as work responsibility, initiative and attentiveness
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani and English languages
• Work experience in the oil and gas sector is an advantage
• ACCA, CIMA, CFA certifications preferred
