Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role Synopsis:

•  Senior Quantity Surveyor reports to Cost Control Manager. Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for preparation of estimation and controlling of project package and operational costs.

Key Accountabilities:

• Quantity takeoff from the drawings, BOQ preparing.
• Preparing of RFQ, RFP, tender package documents,
• Control and compare offers from bidders and subcontractors.
• Negotiation with subcontractors.
• Evaluating interim payments, change orders from subcontractors against project budget.
• Preparation of final accounts.
• Tracking of Defects Liability back charges.
• Updating of RFP, RFQ, Tender log.
• Reporting.

Desired background:

• Bachelor’s degree, master is preferrable.
• Strong knowledge of methods, procedures of construction, cost estimating, quantity survey
• Good organizing skills, team management skills, communication and interpersonal skills, flexible, work ethics, attention to detail and reliable

Required skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, business management, finance or related faculties.
• Good planning skills
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in related field
• Proficiency in English and Russian language
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS excel.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, measurement techniques.
• Business/financial management expertise
• Good presentation skills.
