Business Analyst (Senior Level) at Agile Tribe

Job Summary: 

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders & customers to identify and analyze business needs and requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for software development teams or other streams. The Business Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization remains competitive by identifying opportunities for improvement & digitalization and recommending solutions that align with the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders & customers to identify business needs and requirements
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders & development team, gathering, validating critical information, producing reports
  • Challenge ideas and views of stakeholders, performing requirements analysis
  • Analyzing business processes, IT systems and data, anticipating requirements, developing optimization & digitalization strategies
  • Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement & digitalization
  • Effectively communicating insights and requirements to the team of IT software developers 
  • Performing user acceptance & functional testing, providing feedback
  • Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
  • Calculating costs, analyzing business savings & benefits by transforming them into numbers
  • Supporting business transition and helping to establish change
  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures & related documentation 
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of initiatives 

Requirements & qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
  • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent documentation skills, experience creating detailed reports and presentations
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Effective stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with business process modeling and workflow analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies is a plus
  • In-depth business or industry knowledge is a plus
