Product Owner – Core Insurance System
Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the migration of business and operational processes from our legacy core system to a new, optimized platform. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills to ensure every process change is aligned with all involved departments and a proven track record in managing large-scale implementations and inter-team collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of business and operational processes from the legacy core insurance system to the new platform, with a focus on automation and optimization.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to gather requirements, define the roadmap, and ensure smooth integration of new processes.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and product teams, ensuring all process changes are effectively communicated and approved.
- Oversee the development process, ensuring that process and product metrics are established, monitored, and optimized.
- Manage and mentor a development team while ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.
- Coordinate with other product teams to ensure successful cross-functional collaboration and integration.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in product management or as a Product Owner, specifically with core systems or large-scale enterprise implementations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to align multiple departments and drive consensus on process changes.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex migrations and inter-team collaborations.
- Strong knowledge of process and product metrics, with the ability to analyze and translate data into actionable improvements.
- Hands-on experience in leading a development team and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a strong track record in delivering large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strategic mindset focused on driving process automation and optimization.
Higher education in the direction of computer sience is highly desirable
