Audit Manager for ASM

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join the team of Bravo (Azerbaijan Supermarket LLC), being one of the strategic assets of PASHA Management Company. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the audit project. 

Key Accountabilities:

• To assist the Audit Director in ensuring the implementation of planned audit projects in accordance with the approved annual audit plan and handling unplanned special audit projects; 
• Carry out the work within the frames of the audit projects and organize teamwork effectively in terms of time and quality;
• Supervise the full and high-quality implementation of the relevant procedures and stages (planning, field work and reporting) within the framework of the audit Project, and, if necessary, involve to carry out the procedures directly;
• To discuss the identified issues with the heads of structural divisions of audit objects;
• Prepare reports on audit projects in a correct, high-quality and effective manner;
• Supervise the work of the lower grade employees involved in the project and provide feedback to the employees regarding the quality of the work done regularly;
• To carry out monitoring of the implementation of the action plan prepared by the management for the elimination of identified issues;
• To evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes within the framework of the audit project;
• To participate in the evaluation of the work of the employees supervised within the framework of the audit project; 
• To identify the professional needs of the employees supervised under audit projects and offer solutions by informing their direct supervisor as appropriate.

Required background:

 

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Economic field (finance, accounting, audit, etc.)) or in the legal field;
• More than 5 years experience in the field of audit;
• CIA / CFSA / ACCA / CPA / CIMA / CFE / CFA (L1) candidates with appropriate professional qualifications will be preferred.

Required skills:

• Knowledge in the relevant field and understanding of international audit standards to carry out audit procedures;
• Leadership and communication skills;
• Presentation and writing skills (in Azerbaijani and English);
• Possess management and analytical skills;
• Computer literacy and ability to work with appropriate software (MS Windows products);
• Ability to travel;  
• Professional fluency in Azerbaijani and English.
