Reservations coordinator
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting and advising customers to choose from a variety of travel options.
- Responding to questions about the hotel’s amenities and services, including room rates, room availability, and booking policies
- Checking availability of accommodation or transportation on the customers’ desired travel dates.
- Making reservations based on various requirements and budgetary allowances.
- Preparing documentation for confirmed bookings necessary for payment collection.
- Sorting out any post-booking issues that may arise.
- Selling and promoting reservation services.
- Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as tour tickets, travel insurance, or upgraded seats/accommodations.
- Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
- Other tasks as required by management.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role is a must;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-service experience
- Solutions-focused with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficiency with computer software
- Ability to handle high volume while maintaining a high level of productivity
- In-depth knowledge of domestic and foreign travel destinations.
