Reservations coordinator

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting and advising customers to choose from a variety of travel options.
  • Responding to questions about the hotel’s amenities and services, including room rates, room availability, and booking policies
  • Checking availability of accommodation or transportation on the customers’ desired travel dates.
  • Making reservations based on various requirements and budgetary allowances.
  • Preparing documentation for confirmed bookings necessary for payment collection.
  • Sorting out any post-booking issues that may arise.
  • Selling and promoting reservation services.
  • Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as tour tickets, travel insurance, or upgraded seats/accommodations.
  • Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
  • Other tasks as required by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role is a must;
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-service experience
  • Solutions-focused with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency with computer software
  • Ability to handle high volume while maintaining a high level of productivity
  • In-depth knowledge of domestic and foreign travel destinations.
