Procurement and Logistics Supervisor

Job type: Permanent / Full time

Resposibilities:

  • Manage daily shipping efficiency and work in conjunction with location managers to ensure on time delivery;
  • Run all procurement and logistics activities of the company and do necessary action in case of need;
  • Responsible for reviewing and updating of contracts and payment verification of these contracts.
  • Get quotes for submitted purchase requisitions from the staff;
  • Tracking the status of purchased products or services and inform the related staff;
  • Get approval for purchasing from the senior management;
  • Issue purchase orders and send to suppliers;
  • Handover required documents to Finance staff;
  • Provide valuable support in supplier evaluation process to Quality officer;
  • Ensure that the Quality officer is being notified regarding to delivered products for incoming inspection;
  • Ensure that new suppliers are being registered in Approved supplier register/ necessary documents are being required for registration and provided to Quality officer;
  • Communicate customer/ organizational requirements to suppliers and ensure that the requirements are understood and acknowledged
  • Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings
  • Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies

Minimum qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  •  Minimum 5 years in Procurement and Logistics;
  • Experiences in all range of logistics-air, road, rail and sea freight; FTL, FCL, LTL, LCL
  • Experience in transport equipment’s, especial in heavy industry
  • English independent user (Upper intermediate-B2).

Work conditions:

  • Work time: 5 days, 08.00-17.00
  • Shuttle bus
  • Location: 15 Salyan Highway, AZ 1063, Baku, Azerbaijan
