Summary:
Promote and establish the culture of HSE within the company. Implementation, Training, Guidance, and development of the Permit to Work System in the production areas.
Responsibilities:
- Organization and implementation of the Permit to Work System, related documentation, and procedures in the Refinery and its Production areas;
- Establishing and organizing safety procedures, instructions, and coordinating of Task Risk Assessment process;
- Identification and documentation of Lessons Learned;
- To be the focal contact point and provide support for the operation and implementation of the Permit to Work System (PTW) within the Refinery and its Production areas;
- Coordinate risk assessments with performing and supervising parties, to ensure appropriate level of risk assessment is performed. Identify activities that conflict with other work and that such hazards are identified and those steps are being undertaken to analyze and implement mitigations;
- Lead daily PTW coordination meetings, maintain up-to-date registers, and perform spot-checks on work activities;
- Conduct routine PTW audits and serve as the focal point for PTW audits within Production Areas or Plant;
- Track and advise on overdue or expired permits, certificates, and forms;
- Identify and propose improvements to the PTW process and system;
- Develop PTW reports and statistics;
- Participate in PTW audits, incident investigations, and near-miss investigations when nominated by Line management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Technical Engineering fields;
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with recent direct experience in managing a PTW system;
- Experience in Oil & Gas sector preferable;
- Fluent English language skills;
- Microsoft Office knowledge;
- Ability and knowledge of Task Risk Assessment Process;
- Ability to work effectively within Client, Contractors, and Subcontractors teams;
- Intermediate computer skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation;
- High critical thinking/reasoning ability;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Database experience;
- Self-motivated.
