Summary

To manage assigned Project(s) through all stages of execution (concept, feasibility, FEED, Execution (EPCC, testing)), to delivery company objectives, usually HSSE, Quality, Budget, Schedule and Scope; and if required, support the department in any related activities. 

Responsibilities

  • Act in accordance with the respective values, which form the foundation of our cultures, guiding us in how we perform and behave every day at every level.
  • Follow the corporate and/or project specific policies, procedures and work practices as set out in SDM or in the project quality system
  • To demonstrate visible HSSE leadership generally, and actively partake in all project HSSE initiatives.
  • To demonstrate visible Quality leadership generally, and actively partake in all project quality initiatives.
  • For all supervised staff (as per org charts) :- Set targets, objectives and clear responsibilities; and progressively monitor individual performance against the agreed criteria.
  • Conduct formal appraisals and carry out other performance reviews as required.
  • For all supervised staff (as per org charts), ensure that all project procedures, work practices, and general operating systems are adequately communicated and understood by all relevant parties.
  • Strive to ensure successful project outcome (HSSE, Quality, Schedule, Cost).
  • Liaise, communicate, and operate with all other departments, projects, contractors, affiliates and third parties in the overall interest of the project.
  • Direct, guide, coordinate, deploy, and generally manage all supervised staff as appropriate to achieve the objectives of the project and to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Study and understand all relevant Contract documents, and conditions pertaining to the Project.
  • Actively partake in project reviews with the objective of driving improved overall performance.
  • Communicate overall management objectives to project team members.
  • Review Project status with Senior project specialists to coordinate and issue reports as required.
  • Work closely with resource managers to ensure that appropriate resources are allocated to project tasks.
  • Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans to optimize resource efficiency.
  • Ensure risk identification processes are understood and applied within the project team.
  • Participate in Risk Management meetings.
  • Prepare regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key project metrics, progress, and potential risks.
  • Maintain all project procedures, work practices and complete quality system.
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with other groups, Contractors, and third parties (if required) to maintain the quality system such that it suitably addresses all interface requirements.
  • Ensure that all project processes adhere to company standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits of project processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure change management processes are understood and applied within the project team.
  • Participate in change management meetings.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project tools and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree. Business Administration qualifications beneficial
  • Minimum 10-year experience, in Oil & Gas Sector or related processes sectors
  • Fluent Azerbaijani and English language skills required
  • Russian language skills an advantage
  • IT literacy, and the ability to handle electronic data
