Lawyer
Responsibilities:
- Drafting day-to-day agreements, contracts, memoranda, letters and other documents of legal nature.
- Participating in negotiations and discussions concerning the legal issues.
- Preparing legal opinions related to the matters arising out of and in connection with the contractual relations of the Company.
- Maintain corporate records and documentation.
- Providing legal advice and support to the various management teams within the Company.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all business activities.
- Representing the Company before government authorities, notaries, banks and other third parties on legal matters.
- Handling registration of corporate legal changes within the Company with relevant registration authorities.
Requirements:
- University degree in law from an internationally reputable university.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience as a lawyer or in related sphere.
- Experience in drafting day-to-day agreements, including service agreements, sale-purchase agreements, cooperation agreements and etc.
- Experience in energy sector is advantage.
- Solid knowledge of English law and International law, good knowledge of Azerbaijani legislation.
- Fluent written and verbal English and Azerbaijani. Knowledge of any other foreign language, in addition to those listed is welcomed.
- Knowledge of Energy Law, Commercial law, including Contract law and Corporate law, Employment law.
- Good communication skills.
- Good teamwork skills.
- Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously.

- Easy learner.
- Results-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Good MS Office skills
