Responsibilities:

  • BSc, MSc in business administration or supply chain, Relevant Certificates in PSCM 
  • At least 10 years of experience in PSCM
  • Good interpersonal skills, Complex problem solving skills, Supplier/customer management experience, Ability to independently facilitate PSCM initiatives
  • Project management skills
  • Competent in communicating in English language, excellent presentation and report writing skills
  • Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, MS Visio.

Job duties:

  • Defining, formulating plans and directing the activities of the functional area for the coordination of supply and service in the projects which SOCAR involved in;
  • Supervise resolving overall and specific issues within his competence over supply and service coordination in projects;
  • Hearing of reports on the work done by the management of the functional area under his subordination and making relevant decisions;
  • Analysis of the results of work on the coordination of supply and service in projects and supervise development of proposals to increase efficiency;
  • Supervise overall control over the activities of the functional area for the coordination of supply and service in projects;
  • Holding meetings in connection with the activities of the functional area on the coordination of supply and service in projects and providing relevant instructions to the concerning staff;
  • Supervise analysis of procurement plans for PSA, pipelines and other projects;
  • Hearing of reports on the work done by the management of the functional area under his subordination and making relevant decisions;
  • Involvement in the solution of commercial issues required in the development of joint projects with foreign companies;
  • Directly interface with line Deputy Executive Director & Executive Director to provide insight and become a trusted business advisor;
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency within the PSCM function;
  • Set Strategy & Direct the organization and management of supply of materials and services for Operating Companies in PSAs (from perspective of our share in these projects) and other international projects;
  • Provide overall leadership in the functional area of supply and service coordination in the international projects which SOCAR involved in;
  • Influence and educate others to drive continuous improvement through the use of industry leading best practices and benchmarks for PSCM;
  • Develop and maintain Supply Chain processes, policies, and templates to enhance efficiency and streamline processes;
