Senior HSE Specialist
Brief Job Description:
- Manage and coordinate all HSE matters related to company activities, available projects through cooperation with Operating Companies HSE representatives
Job duties:
- Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation, and review HSE statistics, and reports from Operating Companies.
- Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments, and international standards consultancy for management, including advice on HSE matters.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis reviews.
- Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
- Provide QHSE induction training and conduct HSE meetings with interested parties.
- Coordinate HSE issues between Headquarters and Operating Companies and cooperate with interested parties' HSE representatives.
- Prepare, implement, and improve required HSE documentation, and handle all HSE-related documentation reviews and issues.
- Plan & conduct site visits for HSE monitoring & prepare site visit reports.
- Review Tenders Strategies, Annual HSE plans of Operation Companies
Additional requirements
- At least five years of Oil and gas experience required (prior experience in HSE lead roles is preferred.)
- Understanding of local laws about environmental standards, risk management, and HSE.
- Lead auditor certifications from IOSH, ISO 45001, and NEBOSH (required) are advantageous.
- Good communication and influencing skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
- Strong understanding of international standards (ISO; API).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Azerbaijani and English.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Electronic Document Management Systems.
