Senior Production Engineer

Job responsibilities 

• Inclusion of daily and monthly production data in the monthly report.
• By analysing the plan identifying risks that will affect the overall results.
• Holding meetings to discuss with other functional groups as needed.
• Participate closely with the Team Leader in the preparation of presentations for Steering Committee members and partners.
• Analyse well production and research data, recommend measures in line with well optimization strategy.
• Control and ensure that production measurement and distribution are acceptable.
• Forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on medium-term production targets.
• Modelling of production wells for the purpose of controlling well production and maintaining / optimizing production at a certain level, including modelling of completion activities, construction of well potential (IPR) curves, application of nodal analysis and complex asset modelling methods.
• Guide the Activity Planner to develop and maintain the integrated plan for the Production Theme;
• Collate the individual project weekly and monthly scorecards into a monthly theme Performance Management summary;
• Jointly with Finance Tag provide monthly business delivery input to Performance Management summary i.e. cost and production impact forecast;
• Identify key risks to the integrated delivery through insightful knowledge of the plan;
• Document and progress track actions from Theme integration meetings;
• Facilitate key projects through standard processes e.g. raising eMOC’s, drafting PCPs, documenting Project Initiation Requests, ORP submissions and technical elements of FMs;
• Deliver theme summary presentations to functional teams to raise Production Theme awareness.

Required background/skills and knowledge 

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Petroleum Engineering;
• At least 5 years of oil and gas production.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is advantage);
