Associate, Strategic Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate (Strategic Finance) to join our newly established CEO Office. In this role, you will drive key financial initiatives, including strategic financial modeling, budgeting, and analysis. You will play a crucial role in supporting decision-making processes and preparing insightful materials for senior management and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Modeling: Build, maintain, and improve complex financial models to support business strategy and decision-making
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans; monitor performance against budgets
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, variances, and trends; provide actionable insights for the leadership tea
• Strategic Projects: Collaborate on ad-hoc strategic initiatives, including market analysis, capital allocation, and scenario planning
• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for shareholders, senior leadership, and other key stakeholder
• Business Partnering: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide financial guidance
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking or Consulting

Skills:

• Advanced financial modeling (Excel) and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
• Solid knowledge of finance
• Proficiency in English (upper-intermediate or higher); Russian is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. CFA or ACCA is a strong plus
