Marine Transportation Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Gather information about the readiness of the sea transport and its crew to perform the given task
• To receive information from the responsible persons of those areas about the condition of the ports
• Ensuring that the weather conditions are satisfactory throughout the movement of marine transport
• Consulting with ship captains about cargo and people to be transported by sea
• To prepare the documents of the goods and people to be transported and submit them to the sea transport
• Monitoring the movement of sea traffic, giving additional tasks if necessary
• To control the reception and delivery of necessary cargoes transported by sea transport tanks (fresh water, diesel fuel, drilling solutions) and to carry out the necessary documentation
• During the repair of sea transport, control the quality of the repair and make the necessary documentation
• Prepare the business plan of sea transport and send orders to the companies they belong to
• Conduct periodic inspections on ships and ports
• Conduct annual, quarterly, monthly and periodic documentation

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor degree in relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of experience within marine transportation sphere
• Middle level of English is preferable
• Experience with crew change is highly important
