Chief Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation and timely submission of tax, accounting, Social Security Fund (DSMF), and Statistics reports in accordance with legislation;
• Preparation of all types of financial reports;
• Organization of the accounting department's work and team management;
• Proper establishment of accounting in the production sector, calculation of cost price, and cost control;
• Maintaining records of incoming funds, inventory, and fixed assets, and ensuring timely reflection of related transactions in accounting;
• Maintaining records of fixed assets, participating in and supervising inventory counts at specified intervals;
• Managing transfers within the internal accounting system;
• Conducting correspondence with suppliers and customers, obtaining/providing supporting documents in a timely manner;
• Payroll calculation and timely and correct execution of related transactions;
• Maintaining confidentiality of information during the work process.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or Economics;
• Age Limit: 28 – 50 years;
• Experience: 5 years of work experience as a Chief Accountant or in a relevant field (experience in the production sector is mandatory);
• Certifications: Professional certifications in the relevant field are mandatory (e.g., Professional Accountant Certificate - PMS, DipIFR, ACCA, or other international/local financial certifications);
• Software Skills: Proficiency in 1C, Excel, and the E-Government Portal, Microsoft Office suite;
• Legal Knowledge: Fundamentals of Tax and Labor legislation;
• Professional Skills: Ability to prepare balance sheets, manage inventory accounting, perform analytical reviews, account for production costs, and manage a team;
• Language Skills: Azerbaijani (fluent), Russian (excellent), English is desirable.

Working Conditions:

• Work Location: 100 Binagadi Highway, Baku city
• Work Schedule: 6 days a week
• Salary: Based on interview (will be determined according to the candidate's knowledge and experience);
