Deputy CFO

Undertake strategic analysis and assist the Chief Financial Officer with strategic planning, including leading on the development of the annual and medium-term financial plans
Analyze, interpret and communicate financial and performance data, and provide financial advice
Lead the delivery of accurate financial and performance, monitoring forecasts and plans
Ensure robust plans for the mitigation of risks identified. Produce the overall revenue and capital budgets
Provide executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategizing
Supervise follow-up of new accounting and auditing pronouncements that may affect the Company’s financial statements and their preparation
Mentore and manage the accounting and financial staff
Identify efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business
Communicate conclusions to CFO on analysis of business cases provided by Commercial functions- assess reasonableness of conclusions made

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (Master’s degree or MBA is an asset)
3-5 years of budgeting, financial reporting, financial controlling work experience
Commercial and business awareness, analytical mind
Excellent managerial skills and ability to evaluate the work of others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
