Project Manager

Responsibilities (Managerial & Operational):

 

  • Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Organizing and leading project meetings
  • Managing project progress and adapt work as required
  • Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
  • Performing risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
  • Reporting project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
  • Developing and maintaining partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors
  • Managing large and diverse teams
  • Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.

Personnel specifications:

  • University bachelor’s degree in management or IT area
  • At least 2 years’ experience in as project manager. Background in IT is an advantage
  • Specific areas of expertise:
  • Related Certificates for project management is an advantage: PMP, Prince2.
  • Computer skills:
  • Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Languages:
  • Excellent in Azerbaijani, Russian and English
