HSE Advisor
Job Summary:
A successful candidate shall oversee development, implementation & enforcement of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, techniques, guidelines, standards & procedures in order to improve HSE culture within the company and ensure safety in production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Developing, improving and implementing & enforcing of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, techniques, guidelines, standards & procedures.
- Developing and implementing risk management, risk assessment& hazards identification processes
- Incident reporting & investigation, Lessons Learning (LL) process & corrective measures/actions plan development.
- Permit to Work System / Integrated Safe Systems of Work
- Implementation of Work Authorization system
- Observation, intervention, inspection & auditing including reporting and follow up procedures.
- Coaching & training in various HSE matters & subjects.
- HSE motivation & encouragement of employees at all levels, conducting safety meetings, safety orientation etc.
- Frequent site visits (up to 75% of working time), gather data from a range of sources through site assessment, inspections & auditing.
Required experience& qualifications:
- Familiarity with HSE Management Systems and associated best practices.
- Experience for HSE Advisor and HSE Engineer roles
- Work experience in HSE roles preferably in Oil & Gas industry – is advantage.
- HSE certification such as OSHA, IOSH, CSP, NEBOSH or similar – is advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 requirements – is advantage.
Required education and competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in HSE or Engineering
- Knowledge of MS Office programs
- Fluent Azeri and Upper Intermediate English
