Calibration Engineer

Reporting to: Head of Calibration Laboratory
Types of employment: Full-time
Address: 4 Parlament avenue, Yasamal district, Baku, AZ1006, Azerbaijan.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform routine calibration of measuring devices such as pressure, temperature, electrical, geometric measurements, gas analyzers, dynamometric switches, physical-chemical measurements;
• Completion of certificates according to the AZS/ISO/IEC 17025 standard requirements;
• Following to the requirements of internal documented procedures as per the requirements of the AZS/ISO/IEC 17025 standard and calibration procedures for various instrumentation and equipment;
• Proper filling out the required forms and reports;
• Preparation of calibration methods for the relevant field;
• Traveling to clients for equipment calibrations.

Competency requirements:

Education:

• Higher or secondary specialized education in metrology, standardization and certification engineering, automation field.

Training:

• Awareness of AZS/ISO/IEC 17025 standard requirements.
• Availability of relevant certificates are desirable.

Skills:

• Knowledge of AR Legislation in the field of metrology, basic concepts of metrology science;
• Knowledge in calculation of errors of measuring instruments and calculation of uncertainty during calibration.
• English language, MS Office skills.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 (one) year in relevant positions.
