Procurement Specialist

About the Position:

We are currently seeking a talented, dynamic, and motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Procurement. 

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers
  • Estimate and establish budgets for purchases
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Review all vendors and suppliers
  • Maintain purchase records and other important data
  • Negotiate pricing and supply contracts
  • Develop plans for purchasing services, and supplies
  • Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards
  • Work with team members to complete duties as needed
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers
  • Arrange tracking of the orders and requests and keep a current record of the procurement process.
  • Monitor and follow up on open/unconfirmed Purchase Orders
  • Recommend purchasing policies to ensure qualified delivery of goods and services considering market trends and conditions, contract requirements, and client needs.
  • Register orders and monitor the timely execution of orders.
  • Support the development of the source of delivery, the database of domestic and foreign markets to ensure quality goods and services, delivery schedules, and work standards.
  • Deal logistics activities.
  • Update and record the list of suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in BA and other related fields.
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian languages 
  • Knowledge in market
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills; 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • General computer knowledge including the use the Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and work in an environment with constant interruptions;
  • Is on time, punctual to meetings, knows how to manage a schedule, is organized.

CVs will be shortlisted based on a candidate’s work experience and meeting the requirements. Successful candidates will be interviewed. 

Candidates who have passed the second stage will be asked to present a demonstration lesson to show their abilities in modern teaching/learning methods and technologies.
