Workshop Technician Level 1
Working Relationships:
- Directly: Workshop Supervisor
Position Function:
- To assist in all workshop operations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all service/maintenance sheets are correctly filled out as per Franks procedures
- Ensure all equipment is packed and ready for loading out as per mobilization list
- Ensure implementation of Frank’s policies on quality, health and safety during all workshop activities
- Be available at all times and participate in call-out duties, as required
- Ensure Workshop documentation systems are maintained, and deadlines are met
- Responsible to support a strong safety culture
- Responsible for high quality technical solutions for offshore scopes
- Help with rigging up and down of power tongs, power units, stabbing boards, and tubular handling equipment
- Visually inspect equipment before, during, and after jobs to ensure field readiness and safe operation of equipment
- Know and understand Frank’s International’s Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
- Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Frank’s International
- Work assignments must be carried out to the highest quality level
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Skill Essential to the Job:
Technical:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience in Mechanical / Hydraulic workshop
- Personal communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of an organization
- Excellent Coordination with supervisor and Managers
- TRS equipment work experience and best practices
