(Junior) Lawyer

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for the Junior Lawyer to perform daily legal tasks that will support our legal team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare legal documents;
• Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to the staff and the clients;
• Ensure compliance of company’s documents with all the legal regulations and procedures;
• Keep up-to-date with the changes in legislation of the country and prepare announcements if requested;
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with customers, suppliers and other business partners under the supervision of a lawyer;
• Drafting letters and other required documents the respective state agencies;
• Supporting case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials;
• Organizing materials for team case review;
• Assistance with client disputes and reporting;
• Representing customer companies in state agencies;
• Carrying out basic research on specific tax and legal matters;
• Perform other tasks on request from Head of Legal Department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in law, Master degree is asset.
• 1 year of experience as junior lawyer 
• Fluent spoken and written (Azerbaijani, English, Russian). 
• Confident PC user with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
