Leading Learning and Development Specialist
Oil and Gas Company is looking for Leading Learning and Development Specialist.
Position plays crucial role in designing, implementing, and evaluating training and development programs within an organization by working closely with senior management in order to identify training needs, develop strategies to address them, and create programs that enhance employee skills and performance. This role often involves conducting training sessions, assessing training effectiveness.
Main job responsibilities are:
• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of organization-wide learning and development programs;
• Create and maintain learning and development manuals and other documents;
• Analyze training effectiveness and identify areas of improvement and maintain a post-training assessment process;
• Develop and implement strategies for individual and team development;
• Establish relationships with external training vendors and implementation of the selection process of vendors;
• Monitor, assess and track training and development budget and negotiate contracts;
• Collaboration with other departments to ensure effective training programs;
• Proactively engaging with the business to identify learning requirements;
• Assess the success of development plans and help employees making the most of learning opportunities;
• Monitor, assess and track the Adaptation and Orientation process of new hires and provide onboarding training.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or any related field;
- 4-5 years of experience in the related field, preferably in learning and development, with a focus on program coordination and delivery;
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Familiarity with LMSs and e-learning platforms.
- Familiarity with a variety of training methods, including classroom training, e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training.
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards related to employee training and development.
- Ability to tailor training programs to the diverse needs and learning styles of employees.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, seeking feedback, and making data-driven decisions.
- Awareness of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in training and development.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in the business environment to ensure training programs remain relevant and impactful.
- Having international certificates (CİPD, SHRM, etc.) is an advantage
- Fluency in English and Russian.
- Writing and verbal communication skills
- Analytical skills.
- Facilitation skills.
- Project Coordination.
- Stakeholder Management.
