Absheron Early Production Scheme (EPS) is a gas production plant started in mid-2023. JOCAP Joint Operating Company of Absheron Petroleum was established in March 2018, which is the Operator of Absheron from August 2018.
Absheron development reference agreements are PSA, JOA and addendums. New EPS platform adjacent and connected to existing facilities, operated with dedicated philosophies for safety, maintenance, inspections, integrity. Multicultural context with documents in different languages, mainly Azerbaijani or English.
EPS Project technical data:
- 152Mscf/d of gas, 12kbbl/d of condensate;
- production from 1 subsea well,
- 34km multiphase flowline,
- dedicated new platform installed at Oil Rocks field (operated by SOCAR);
- WHSIP = 555bar, WHFP = 380bar.
Activities:
The job holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE rules & requirements, with regards to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and for implementing and controlling these rules and requirements within his area of responsibility.
The job holder responsibilities are:
- Performing first line maintenance when Maintenance team is not on duty
- Manage, supervise and execute maintenance as well as support activities 24/7 by assisting company site.
- Co-ordinates the maintenance operations
- Manage the Maintenance Services contract in place for offshore operations by dealing with resident maintenance issues
- in timely way working with maintenance staff
- Provide assistance for the operations, supervise the site Maintenance Services and conduct proper follow-through on all maintenance issues.
- Prepares technical reports
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance or repair tasks, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Informs the persons concerned, by appropriate reporting, on the progress of maintenance operations and, if necessary, of difficulties encountered.
- Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance personnel, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Takes part in different daily, weekly and site co-ordination meetings
- Assist with site environmental conformance as well as hazardous material programs.
- Ensure to maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment.
- Ensure to keep cleanliness at shop and storage areas as well as well-stocked, organized following company color coded program.
- Inspect regularly machinery with respect to safety issues inclusive but not restricted to ground and trip hazards, non- functioning lights, broken pieces along with exposed wiring.
- Participate in maintenance employees’ schedules as per forecasted workloads.
- Perform with maintenance employees along with other technical personnel to develop proactive and effective team working together to attain set objectives.
- Investigate and implement new technologies or methods to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
- Managing and coordinating the interfaces with Azneft counterparts
- Playing a key role in emergency response and PTW processes
HSE Responsibilities:
- Comply with the Activities described within the HSE Management System
- Take reasonable care of own Health and Safety and that of Others who may be affected by their acts at work
- Each employee, at his level of responsibility, must observe all Company Rules, Procedures and instructions in the performance of his own task
- Ensures compliance to company safety and security standards, procedures and policies.
- Assure of the safety of his work site
- Exercise such caution as is necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations or to avoid pollution
- Report any anomaly, abnormal conditions and near miss to supervisor
- Participate actively in or lead when required HSE meetings, safety talks, tool boxes, training sessions and drills
Authority to suspend activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor.
