General:

  • The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible to support Senior Project Company Representative in implementation of Integrated FFD Execution Schedule.

Missions:

The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for:

FFD Pre-FEED and FEED Execution Schedules covering:

  • Preparation of development studies schedule through pre-FEED to FEED and Execute with the level of details appropriate for the relevant stage of FFD
  • Plan, coordinate, supervise and direct all planning and scheduling activities.
  • In collaboration with Development Team to establish interface matrix (interdependcies) between the different packages identified as part of the Field Development Layout
  • In collaboration with the Development Team identify and integrate into development schedule decision making gates w
  • Support Development Team in preparation of progress measurement process during Pre-FEED and FEED
  • Contribute to the preparation of weekly and monthly reports if required by Development Team
  • Organize Development Studies Schedule Progress review with Development Team, clearly identifying delays, associated root-cause-analysis, identify recovery plans in collaboration with the development team
  • Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.

Integrated FFD Execution Schedule:

  • Establishment of Absheron FFD Execution Master Schedule (Baseline) starting from Level1 and Level 2 at pre-FEED stage to the Level 3 and further during FEED and execute stages:
  • In collaboration with the development technical team to establish relevant WBS for FFD Execution Schedule with the associated interdependency and logic links between the different WBS elements including major and intermediate milestones
  • Working with Development Team to identify Long Lead Items and forecast LLIs required on site dates to meet the Project Objectives.
  • Prepare Key Construction Assets (Vessels etc.) readiness plans in collaboration with the
  • Construction Execution Advisor and development team
  • Identify Critical Path and Sub-Critical Path of FFD Execution Schedule
  • Develop Schedule Risk Modelling including duration uncertainties, risks and opportunities, run Schedule Risk Analysis and present results
  • Prepare Basis of Schedule Document outlining assumptions, risks/opportunities etc. relevant to the technical definition of Project at the different stages of development studies
  • Overseeing Contractors development of Level 3, resource loaded execution schedules
  • Monitor Integrated Schedule Progress throughout Pre-FEED to FEED, identify deviations, RCA, and associated recovery plans in collaboration with the relevant discipline leads
  • Support PSC Team for the establishment of Work Time Schedule requirement as part of CFT packages at the end of the FEED
  • Attending and scheduling meetings as required.

HSE:

  • Demonstrate exemplary behavior with regards to HSE rules and requirements
  • Ensure implementation of the HSE rules and requirements within his/her perimeter of responsibilities and that all the activities are performed with the highest level of consideration to HSE risk management
  • Promote safety awareness at all level through exemplary and pro-active attitude within Project team and Contractor/Subcontractors’ team
  • Participate in external safety reviews with 3rd party stakeholders if necessary.

Context and environment:

JOCAP is a non-profit Joint Operating Company established in 2018 and equally owned by partners SOCAR Absheron (SOA) 50% and TotalEnergies EP Absheron B.V. (TEPAb) 50% for the development and production of the Absheron Offshore Block.

The Absheron block is located offshore Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea, about 100km southeast of Baku and 33km south of Oil Rocks production and processing facilities, at the water depth of 500m.

The Absheron Full Field Development is completing Conceptual study in 3Q2023 with transition into Pre-FEED in summer 2023. The project comprises 3 subsea wells, long subsea tie-back to shore and gas processing at new Greenfield treatment facilities. There are multiple 3rd party interfaces in the Project which require contiuous and proactive engagement, alignment, and follow up.

Absheron development reference agreements are PSA, JOA and addendums.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Professional Experience: minimum 7 years in the oil & gas industry incl. experience in project integrated execution schedule development.
  • Experience in Schedule Risk Analysis
  • Familiar with the Interface Management and ability to work on cross-functional and transverse activities.
  • Qualifications: engineering diploma or equivalent
