Senior Geologist

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in the field, master's degree is an advantage;
• 10 years of work experience in the field, experience in international oil and gas companies is an advantage;
• Experience in the field of seismic interpretation;
• Experience with Petrel or equivalent seismic interpretation and geomodeling software;
• Familiarity with the geology of Azerbaijan is an advantage;
• Experience in translation of well magazine;
• Knowledge in structural geology or sedimentology;
• Extensive geological knowledge and excellent subsurface integration skills;
• Experience in "Play-based Regional" and "Prospect" evaluation, "Prospect" creation, including prospect description, volume calculation and risk assessment;

Job requirements:

• Bachelor degrees in Geology, oil & gas industry, and other related fields;
• Master's or higher degree is a plus;
• At least 10 years of work experience, preferably in an international Oil & Gas company;
• Expertise in Seismic Interpretation;
• Expertise in Play-based Regional and Prospect evaluation, Prospect Generation & Maturation including prospect; description, volume calculation & risk assessment;
• Broad geological knowledge and excellent subsurface integration skills;
• Strong background in structural geology or sedimentology;
• Experience in Well Log Interpretation;
• Experience with Petrel or equivalent seismic interpretation and geomodeling software;
• Familiarity with the geology of Azerbaijan is a plus.
