Document Controller
Reports to Project Manager.
Key Accountabilities:
- Implement and maintain document control procedures by company standards and project requirements.
- Receive, log, distribute, and track project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain both electronic and hard copy document filing systems for easy retrieval and reference.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all project documents and records.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely review, approval, and distribution of documents.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve document-related issues and discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
- Provide training and support to project team members on document control processes and software.
Required skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience working as a Document Controller in the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software for document management and drafting.
- Experience working with Aconex Construction Project Management Software is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of English language at upper intermediate level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with document control best practices, standards, and regulations.
- Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
