Document Controller

Reports to Project Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Implement and maintain document control procedures by company standards and project requirements.
  • Receive, log, distribute, and track project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain both electronic and hard copy document filing systems for easy retrieval and reference.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all project documents and records.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely review, approval, and distribution of documents.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve document-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
  • Provide training and support to project team members on document control processes and software.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience working as a Document Controller in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software for document management and drafting.
  • Experience working with Aconex Construction Project Management Software is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of English language at upper intermediate level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with document control best practices, standards, and regulations.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
