HR Assistant (Sumgayit)
“PowerChina Huadong Engineering Corporation Limited” (HDEC) Branch office in the Republic of Azerbaijan company is looking for a HR Assistant for “240 MW Khizi-Absheron Wind Power Project”.
Job Summary
The HR Assistant will support the recruitment process, manage employee records, ensure compliance with labor laws, assist in resolving labor disputes, support employee engagement initiatives, and handle various HR-related documents.
Job Requirements:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial interviews.
- Maintain a database of potential candidates and ensure timely communication with applicants.
- Help manage employee attendance, leave records, and timesheets.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assist in resolving labor disputes and grievances in coordination with the Senior HR Business Partner.
- Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Assist in addressing employee concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Prepare HR-related documents such as offer letters, employment contracts, orders and termination letters.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive employee information
- Prepare and submit monthly HR reports to the Senior HR Business Partner.
- Work closely with subcontractors' HR teams to ensure alignment on HR policies and practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of a year of experience in an HR role, preferably within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge and experience work in electronical systems and portals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Azerbaijan and English languages; proficiency in Russian language is a plus.
Work schedule: 7 hours on Monday-Friday, 5 hours on Saturdays.
Location: Sumgayit office
