Trainee Technician
To study and pass training/ competency programme in order to carry out maintenance, service and repair of fire extinguishers, breathing apparatus, lifejackets and other fire and safety equipment as directed by the Management in compliance with Company procedures and requirements.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Operational Responsibilities:
- Ensure work materials and tools are suitable and used in the correct manner in accordance with relevant operating procedures
- Carry out work activities in accordance with Company procedures under guidance of the supervisor
- Support operational staff to complete work activities in compliance with client requirements and project timeframe
- Accurate and detailed completion of job sheet and certificates
- Updating the supervisor on the job progress
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Personal Ongoing Development
Administrative / Leadership Responsibilities:
- Complete all required information on required documentation in accordance with Company procedures
Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality:
- Carry out work activities in accordance with all QHSE requirements and procedures
- Conduct yourself in a safe manner and in a manner to protect the safety of others
- Carry out personal risk assessments and any other health and safety requirements toensure personal safety
Qualifications: Degree in Technical or Mechanical field
Experience: Minimum one year experience in a mechanical discipline within the oil & gas industry
Skills / Training: Ability to communicate effectively in Azerbaijani, English and Russian Capacity to work under pressure
Assessed Competence: Already taken part in a competence assessment.
Salary is 1,000 azn gross.
