Alcoholic Beverages Category Manager

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in category management, brand management, or trade marketing within the FMCG sector; experience in the alcoholic beverages industry is preferred
• Strong understanding of the alcoholic beverages market, consumer behavior, and retail dynamics
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Hands-on experience in developing and executing category strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strong project management capabilities and experience working cross-functionally
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian
• Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven personality

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute category strategies for the alcoholic beverages portfolio
• Manage pricing, product positioning, and assortment strategies to maximize sales and profitability
• Conduct regular market analysis, including competitor activity, consumer trends, and pricing dynamics, to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
• Plan and implement brand marketing, trade marketing, and promotional activities in coordination with producers, as well as local Sales and Trade Marketing teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with producers, key customers, and retail partners to ensure effective execution of brand growth strategies
• Monitor sales performance, market share, and profitability; prepare regular reports and strategic recommendations for management
• Lead product launches and portfolio innovations, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines and local market requirements 
• Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability
• Ensure full compliance with local laws and regulations related to the marketing and sale of alcoholic beverages

Working hours norm:

• 5-day work schedule; from 09:00 to 18:00
